Hotel Luxe is definitely a unique place to stay in Split. Although it has a great location (it's only few steps away from the old city centre Diocletian's palace and bus lines and of course a ferry line docs for visiting a great number of islands nearby) it also has great and friendly staff which is very professional. The rooms are very interesting for their cosiness and a simply breath taking view of the sea and islands. The interior of the hotel as well as the rooms are very stylishly decorated and relaxing. In a case of bad weather you can always go to a small fitness room or to a wellness part to maybe have a massage or just relax in the hot tub. Reading the reviews of other guests I could not see that everyone is thrilled with glass bathroom, I must say that I definitely agree that it is absolutely great idea because you can have a bath and see outside or let the sun inside the room. Overall great experience.

Very centrally located boutique hotel.
Old town on one side and ferry terminal on the other side which gives good access to all the island ferries.
They have a free parking exclusive for hotel guests.
Rooms are modern and neat. They have a notable feature in room worth mentioning.
They have direct channels of music playing all different kind of musics.
Good breakfast buffet with few freshly made things to order.
They have a small spa with jacuzzi and sauna and gym.

I struggled with whether to stay at Hotel Luxe or at a hotel in the city walls, and I'm so glad I chose Hotel Luxe! This is a boutique hotel with an ultra modern feel, from the sleek glass doors at the entry to the soft glowing purple lights everywhere. The staff was bright and friendly, with fantastic English skills and lots of recommendations. Tea at the front desk was particularly helpful.

I opted for a room with a balcony, and it was worth the cost. I looked right out over the water, and it was quite and peaceful after the busy-ness and bustle inside the palace. For me, it was a nice escape. I stopped by a nearby grocer and bought a bottle of wine to sip nightly while watching the sunset.

I also loved that the bathroom and bedroom were separated by a glass wall- it made the room appear much larger. One added benefit, I took a bath one night (insider tip- that bath gel creates a TON of bubbles!) and could see the view through the glass wall!

The room was very clean and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the internet was fast and reliable. In fact, the hotel was comfortable overall, with a small but serviceable fitness center and a delicious breakfast spread in the mornings. As a Starbucks addict, I particularly appreciated the cappuccino machine.

This hotel was a five minute walk from the bus station, the extraordinary outdoor market, and the Riva. Again, this was a great escape from Diocletian's Palace. Highly recommended

Room Tip: spring for a room with a balcony!

Dear davlynng,

What an amazing review ! Thank you for your lovely comments on Luxe – I have taken the liberty of sharing your kind comments with my entire team.

It is always wonderful to hear such a positive feedback, which serves as a great motivator for our team. It shows them that their passion and efforts to provide exceptional service are appreciated by those who receive it. As is the case with all business, the greatest advertising we can aspire to is that of word-of-mouth from satisfied customers.

I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Hotel Luxe in the not too distant future.

The location is great...short walk to the Palace and shopping. The rooms are very eccentric with vibrant colors exactly like in the pictures. In our room the bathroom was enclosed with a large window that allowed for someone to take a shower or use the toilet while still being able to enjoy the view! Of course there was a curtain you could close, but an interesting touch. The staff was helpful upon check in, the only downside is parking if you have a car. Directions to the lot are difficult and the parking is in a lot, not a secure garage. Other than that, the hotel was fantastic.

Great location, close to the ferry port and bus station meant that the old town and seafront are in easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was lovely and modern with comfortable clean rooms and good WiFi coverage throughout. The spa and sauna facilities looked really nice and relaxing but I didn't have time to try them out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite proximity to road and port there was no noise disturbance, though may be different in the middle of summer. Very much enjoyed staying here and will definitely stay again when next in Split. The only small let-down was the breakfast buffet - average at best - but there are plenty of nice cafes within a short walk so....

Room Tip: Higher rooms have nicer views...
