I recently stayed with 9 friends at this hotel. The hotel commented that it was unusual for a party to spend a whole week there. Visitors usually spend one or two days.there. As a "thank you" for our week long stay the hotel laid on canapes and champagne one afternoon upon our return from a day out. The hotel is very centrally placed for transport links. Trains, boats and buses are all literally "on the doorstep" and it is only approx 40 minutes from the airport.
The main thing that strikes you about the Luxe is the decor which is all white and glass. Carpets and cushions inject a touch of colour - purple and turquoise. Everything is spotlessly clean and pristine. Room 403 had a good view of the sea and ferry port, the latter was very busy and a little noisy at times. If you are staying a few days, please note there are no drawers in the bedrooms - only a couple of shelves. Beds and pillows were excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful but the small dining room gets a little busy when lots of guests arrived at the same time and the staff need to constantly replenish the food. The staff cannot be praised highly enough - they went the extra mile every time. The hotel fronts onto a bush road but all the rooms are at the back and there is no road noise at all - just the noise of the many swifts flying about at dawn. I really cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Room Tip: 404 - 407 offer great views. no balcony but larger windows than my room 403

if you don't mind a walk (about half a kilometer) from the main hotel, the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is a nice option for families. It was recently renovated in a modern style with bright colors and is on the 5th floor with a nice view (there is an elevator). You can still get breakfast at the hotel and use the wellness center. The hotel has very friendly staff - especially at the front desk and bell staff.

We have just returned from a week's stay at this hotel and was very impressed with the all the amenities and decor, the attention to detail was second to none, even the room numbers changed colour! The staff were extremely polite, and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is ideally located for both the old town, promenade and ferry ports.

Our room was spotless with a lovely view of the harbour. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

A very enjoyable stay - thank you

Room Tip: Room 404 provides a very good view of the harbour

Experienced world travelers. We booked deluxe view room through an online agency for a good discounted price. Typical rack rate is $450, but the "view" was of next door rooftops with a glimpse of a tour ship beyond. The nonsmoking room reeked of cigar when we arrived. They promised to refresh it. When we returned later, it was better. Parking is available but you need a very compact car to get to lot. Nice, but small. Breakfast basic. Lots of money even with discount for what we got for one night.

Room Tip: upper floors above 300-400 should have better view

Dear Socprof67,

Thank you for taking your time to review your stay. I want to apologize for a delay in responding, we are having a very busy season.

All of our rooms are non-smoking, but unfortunately, not every guest respects that rule. Sometimes guests are smoking on the balcony and the smell comes in the rooms. In both cases, our housekeeping is trying their best to get rid of the smell as soon as possible. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It is odd you had published rate of 450$. Only our best, Superior rooms, cost 315€/night in high season, so perhaps you can look at more online agencies next time and compare. Standard room rate you had and other room type’s rates vary depending on different views; better view, higher rate. I’m sure that for one night the view is not as important and I think you’ve chosen well.
After all, rate includes use of wellness, daily buffet breakfast, all taxes, and use of Wi-Fi and parking lot that has video surveillance 24h. City of Split was build more than 1700 years ago, when there were no cars, so the whole infrastructure of the center of town, where we are located, has troubles with parking. This is why free parking is great values as we’re are one of very few hotels in the center which has private parking of sufficient capacity.

We’ll make sure to improve all we can and will hopefully score better on your next visit!

Kind regards,

Anita Buzov,

The hotel was spotless, modern with a small but sufficient spa area. The rooms are quirky with the open view bathroom. Only a 5 minute walk from the harbour and the palace. It did however feel a little pricey compared to our stay in Dubrovnik but certainly a great convenient spot.
