We were wandering Split yesterday, and had the good fortune to end our day with a very outstanding meal in Stellon. We had seen a description of it in a tour book, where it was referred to as a pizza and pasta place. We didn't choose it at first, because we were looking for a nice fish dinner. We found the restaurant from the guide we were looking for closeby, closed and demolished.
We ended up in Stellon, sort of as a second choice. We were delighted to find that the menu had extensive options, including fish. We ended up eating far too much; hors d-oeuvres, salad, main course, and desert. Every dish was very, very good, we shared tastes of everything that came to our table of four people.
We will definitely be back. This was one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in the last two and a half months we've been touring Europe. This, and the view was phenomenal, and the price was actually reasonable. Value, service, world class food, and a lovely location. Doesn't get much better.
