My wife, my teenage son and I stayed in this apartment in August. It is slightly smaller than it appears on the photos and there are several sets of stairs to climb to get to it as there is no lift.
However it is still spacious enough and is clean with everything you might need including a washing machine in the bathroom. The balcony is long and narrow but overlooks a few restaurants and a Zara. It is right in the center and everything is within walking distance so you can relax with a drink and watch the comings and goings of locals and tourists.
My one complaint would be that the fridge was too small.
The owner Neven and his family live right next door and are a lovely couple who are very accommodating and friendly.
I would certainly stay there again even if it means another climb several times a day.

Just returned from a week in the apartment owned by Neven and his wife Situated within 3 mins walk of excellent places to eat , the cheese and wine bar , the local bakery and 5 mins walk to the Riva and old town streets I agree with all the previous reviews and recommend the arranged car service from the airport to Marmont apartments Neven will advise on suggested restaurants ferry services etc. The apartment is in a 100 year beautiful restored residential block. The balcony is a must for breakfast in the sun. The hospitality of the Croatians is second to none
This was my first time to Croatia so you knew little about where to go and where to stay. I look on the reviews and was struck by how consistent they were. It was all absolutely correct. The apartment was perfect, immaculate with everything we needed and even a bottle of champagne on our arrival. Neven and his wife were so kind and welcoming making us feel at home. I am already planning my next holiday to croatia and would definately return to this apartment and highly recommend it.

We spent 8 days in Split and the owner of the apartment, Neven, made it a truly special holiday for the four of us girls! He gave us a list of restaurants with varied price ranges and the names and locations of different companies which organised days out & activities, it was really helpful. He also left some drinks and ice cream on the fridge for our arrival!! The apartment is right in the centre by cafes and shops and about a 20 minute walk from the beach, although on weekends it can be a little noisy, so make sure you shut your windows! Was a great holiday for a very reasonable price, would definitely stay here again!
I cannot say how much we appreciate Neven and his apartment. From meeting us at the airport to suggesting places to eat and visit to assisting with lost baby stroller from our flight, Neven was there for us, making the start of our journey in Croatia the most welcomed and memorable. Do not look any further for place to stay in central Split.

Myself and 2 friends booked this apartment for a weeks holiday to celebrate graduating from university and it certainly didn't disappoint. The apartment is right in the centre of the old town making it an excellent safe base. The owner (Neven) could not have made us feel more welcome. He was always happy to help us organise trips out away from split, we provided transport from the airport upon our arrival and greeted us with some ice cold bubbly! This apartment is simply one not to miss and made our trip to Croatia one of the most enjoyable holidays I've ever had.

We spent 5 nights here at the start of our trip down the Dalmatian coast and found it to be the perfect place for us to stay in Split - right in the heart of things, just minutes from the waterfront and Diocletian's Palace. Having arranged a pick-up from the airport, our arrival was hassle free and we were soon settled in and enjoying a bottle of fizz on the balcony as the sun went down - thank you for this welcome! We spent a lot of time out on the lovely sunny balcony - great for enjoying a leisurely breakfast, people watching, relaxing with a book and pre-dinner drinks. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with a very comfy bed. Neven and his wife are on hand next door if needed, but otherwise unobtrusive. Lots of good food and drink options nearby too - the pizzeria (Galija) round the corner was just what we needed after our evening flight, there's a bakery close by if you fancy fresh warm croissants in the morning and Paradox Wine & Cheese bar (near the theatre) is fab for sampling a huge range of Croatian wines. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Split - recommended!
