The view from the terrace is magical! But that is not all, they have a million ideas for food. Ideas for serving food will delight you. You must visit this restaurant!

We were a group of four staying at the ACI Marina in Split and to think we only found this gem of a place on our last day! Truly spectacular views of the sea and Split from the outside terrace, a table large enough for eight and a knowledgeable, friendly waiter - a really good start before even ordering from the reasonably priced menu.
We were given complimentary starters of fresh tuna pate with a small bread roll which set the scene for what was to follow.
Spring rolls coated in breadcrumbs and stuffed with minced prawns and chicken served with a chilli sauce were scrumptious. The spinach soup with parmesan swirls and sea food soup served in a large round loaf of bread also went down a treat.
But the creativity of serving the sea bass in a greaseproof sailing boat topped the lot. Cooked to perfection with courgette and carrot noodles, it was bliss on a plate. We ordered braised potatoes to accompany this and they were delicious too. My other half opted for the veal served on mashed poato with a mouthwatering sauce.
Too full after all that, we couldn't manage a dessert but they looked amazing as well, as we peeked a look at what the other diners were getting.
A great way to end our last day in Split - when we return next year, we will definitely be going back to The Adriatic. A must go to!!

The fine dining section of the restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is good quality. Gluten free adjustments were made on request and the waiter could easily list what would be suitable and what could be adjusted. Unfortunately our waiter was the only really friendly one, the rest were rather abrupt to the point of being rude. The food was very tasty although the restaurant specialty couldn't have the sauce on it when made gluten free and it lost a little punch because of that. Overall we enjoyed the lovely setting and if you need gluten free options this is a great place to go when in Split.

We went to this place for lunch after reading good things about the place. I won't deny the location is great with views over the Adriatic and the Marina. The wasps are an issue but then they are an issue everywhere. To be clear we went to the Pizzeria so I am not commenting on the main restaurant, although the same staff appeared to be dealing with the whole restaurant. The customer service was terrible. We sat at a table which became free and had to move the previous customers' plates ourselves due to lack of attention. Noone then came to lay our table for us. Eventually someone took our drinks orders. He was rude and when he brought them back he unceremoniously dumped them on the table. He didn't ask for our food order so I had to ask him myself. We then sat and waited.....and waited....and waited. Our waiter must have walked past at least 10 times, not to mention various other staff - it was busy but not so busy it can't have been blindingly obvious we hadn't received our food but noone did a thing. Eventually I had to complain, at which point our pizzas arrived 2 minutes later. They had clearly been sitting in the kitchen for some time and were going cold. The highlight of this culinary experience was when the waitress finally brought our food, rather than apologize she said it wasn't her fault and blamed it on the kitchen. Apart from it being blatantly untrue, I was under the impression the staff in the kitchen and the staff waiting tables all work for the same collective! Awful. The food wasn't terrible but given it was cold by the time it arrived I wasn't interested in eating it. Avoid!!!!!!!

The location is really something, by the sea, great view...nothing special food wise though.
We had an octopus dish, the one in the picture, good, but the gnocchi and seafood dish was quite bad, gnocchi hard like stones. Desert wasn't anything special at all. PRICE DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE CUISINE
