The location was exellent to walk around in Split. It took less than 5 minutes to the palace of Diocletian, lots of restaurants, and the seafood market. Inside of the house was clean and quiet to stay.

Review of Apartments Gajeta

We, my wife and me, stayed at a one bed-room Gajeta apartment one night. This one was just close to the old town, 3 minutes walk and just the same distance even to the Riva with seaside cafes and restaurants. So the location was perfect, even Gajeta office was just one minute walk.
The apartment was enough spacious for 2 of us, it hade a bedroom, small kitchen with necessary utensils, fridge etc. Dining table naturally. We did some cooking too.
The bathroom was medium sized with good shower, hot water was available anytime. The apartment hade a medium sized sitting room for watching tv etc. The ac functioned well, as well wifi.
There was a shared terrace too, but we never used it.
The Gajeta reception staff behaved politely and we thank them for the good service !

We booked the apartment in summer for our 2 day stay in split. We were 4 ppl and the appartment was just great. We had alot of space and it was located near the center. It was a little difficult to find by car since its located in a walking zone. you have to come from the seaside and dont trust the gps.

This company owns about 20 apartments, all of which are close to a the center of town and a bunch of great restaurants. What is special is that the apartment office is close to the apartments, so that you can get advise, directions, etc. Very helpful office staff. Our apartment was also quite nice and reasonable.

We were totally satisfied with our apartment. An ideal location for exploring the old city and surrounding areas. After having spent 5 days on a gullet cruise it was fantastic to have so much room including a dining area, comfortable sized bathroom and bedroom including a small lounge. Everything from kitchen utensils to clothes rack, ironing board, hair dryer etc etc.
The apartments are managed by very efficient young men and are very clean and in good condition.
This apartment was next to a few restaurants, bars, a supermarket , patisserie, really everything you need. The TV even had Sky sports. Expect some noise when the local establishments close but when you are living amongst the locals you should expect this. Definitely recommend.

The apartment is very close to Diocletian Palace and if you use the Rick Steves' guide, just right next and nearby to many of the recommended restaurants inside the book. Zara is also just on the next street. The apartment is just the right size and clean. 4G reception is weak inside the apartment if you are using a data sim card but the wifi is strong. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come to Split again.
