We arrived from Dubrovnik by bus and was glad to be received by the owner at the bus stop, which saved us the trouble of finding the place. Not that it would have been difficult, because the location is excellent !!! Within walking distance of the bus stop, the ferry port, the markets and Diocletian palace !!! The guesthouse occupies some floors of the Vrlic home and has a cute little beautifully maintained garden. The room (no.4) was large with tea/coffee making facility and the bathroom (though slightly small) was adequate. The only bit of trouble we had was lugging up our heavy suitcases up the stairs as the rooms are not on ground level. Would definitely choose to stay here again !!!

We stayed for one night in Split and had no trouble finding the apartments as they are just a short walk up the hill from the port.

The owners were very friendly and provided us with maps and directions. The rooms were clean and homely if perhaps a little dated (and a bit bright as the shutters didn't cut out all the light).

Overall we felt the accommodation was great value and would definitely recommend!

Just round the corner from the palace, lovely garden. Bright and clean with supermarket over the road. Parking for us was ok but I got the impression we got lucky first time - otherwise we had asked to reserve parking and the host was very friendly so I expect they would have sorted it for us. Good price and excellent value. PS bring sunglasses, the citys all white stone and when its sunny you're blinded from above and below!

The place is a bit worn out, but the owner was very nice and secured me a parking place, which is hard in Split. The guesthouse has very nice location and in general we enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed in this guesthouse for one night, but the lovely hosts made us feel right at home from the second we walked through the gate. The location was great as well, only a couple of minutes walk from Diocletian's Palace and the rest of the sights of Split. Although the location was good, we did have a bit of trouble finding it from the trian station - just make sure you have a map of gps with you to guide the way. The room was bright, clean and comfortable, and overall really great value for money. I'd definitely recommend the guesthouse to anyone travelling to Split.
