Villa Zoro is such an amazing property, its the first villa we have ever stayed in where we've instantly felt like it was "home" I want to try and cram as much as I can into this review so i'll split it into sections:
The property inside:
It has AC, the kitchen is really very well appointed (we normally grumble about missing items as we're both quite adventurous cooks but we found absolutely everything we needed). The fireplace is lovely, we had one rainy/cool night so we used it. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are decent sizes (there is one double and two singles, the double is actually two singles pushed together but it didn't cause us any issues). The TV is also a decent size, there are some movies available there and I plugged my fire TV stick in with no issues.
The property outside:
Firstly, the pool is just lovely! Its 1.5m deep at both ends (there is no shallow end) which is deep enough to swim in but shallow enough for most adults to stand up in. Being slightly less deep also means it takes less time to warm up and we found it was a comfortable temperature even in May.
The BBQ is actually a wood fired oven, I hadn't used one before so I was a little worried but Ante had already set a fire ready for use and I just copied that every other time, it cooked really well and we used it on 5 of our nights.
The rest of the grounds are really nice, there is plenty of parking and it feels very secluded (you aren't overlooked by anyone). There is also a shaded area for when the sun gets too much, the table there is also big enough for 6 people to eat at.
As the previous reviewer said, its 6-7km to Omis town, we didn't try walking it but i'd suggest if you do plan on walking it you'll need PLENTY of water for the walk back as its a steep ascent for much of the route.
*Word of warning*: we tried to get an Uber from the villa to Omis, there were three available and they all rejected my booking as they were too far away/our trip was too short. We ended up using "Taxi Omis Dreamland" who have a Facebook page, it cost us around 90 Kuna each way (180 in total) and they were very responsive.
Ante is a really warm and welcoming host, we didn't arrive until around 10:30pm and he was still there to greet us with some food and drink, he gave us all the info we needed and was really quick to reply to messages during the stay.
We're planning on going back next year, need I say more?!
