odessa is a world unto itself and the otrada reflects that. a beautiful building, but more facade than substance. we had trouble fitting three people into the room structure. we finally settled for a room with two 1.5 meter beds, neither single nor double beds, some weird inbetween. i thought i was in a movie set when i set out for breakfast at 7 am and saw a "french maid" emerge from our next door room. i don't think she had any cleaning products with her. the hotel then witnessed a steady stream of provocative professions. i'm an adult, but i was there with my 10 year old son, and was not ready to explain to him the circumstances. we loved the potemkin steps though and would happily return, not sure back to the otrada, though.
