This small cozy place continues traditions of one of the oldest contemporary (after-perestroika) restaurants - Gulfstream, which was located at the yach club in the green area on the slopes toward the sea in Otrada. It was known from mid-90s as remote and isolated place for secluded meetings, great food and excellent shows.
Food was especially well-known, as well as its owners - Angelov's couple. Now they established presence on Odessa down town with this new place, which is continuing old name and traditions.
This being said its clear that expectations were very high, unlike average new place open. Thus, I took all my family with me. While food ws bertween OK and decent, I have to admit that I was disappointed as I expected nothing less than amazing, and amazing it was not. There were some flaws despite the general high level of delivery and efforts
So I presume its just due to the fact of the brand new location and usual teething problems. However that can not be tolerated for next time. The standart set is VERY high and they must comply. Otherwise instead of legend it would be just another diner which I would be extremely sorry for
