The food was good and the staff very attentive. However, my wife had the local kambala which she enjoyed at the time but the next day realised that it must have been "off". I ordered ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta and received a completely different dish. This was replaced without question and an apology received. The ravioli when it came was pretty good. Our guest had duck which she said was delicious.

Nice panna cotta to finish.

I would come back as I like the athmosphere. The restaurant is not too big and indeed could be described as being cosy. The staff want to please and after all everyone can make a mistake.

Prices were reasonable but some wine a bit pricey i.e. Gavi de Gavi at UAH 85o a bottle.

Thank Tomeck

Dear Steve W!

Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions about visiting our Sophie café.

We will certainly take into account your suggestions and comments. In the nearest future we are planning to expand the bar list with the alcohol of Ukrainian beverage manufacturers. Also the chef of our restaurant, after trainings with French chefs, who were awarded with Michelin's stars, is now thinking about improving our Parfait of foie gras (served with toasts, onion jam and raspberry sauce). We hope your next visit to Sophie Cafe will be a pleasant surprise for you.

We always glad to see you as our guest!
With kind regards and best wishes,
Director of boutique hotel "Frederic Koklen"

Saw it on tripadvisor, so when we passed by the restaurant we decided to give it a try.
And we were not deceived.
The place is cozy, the prices are very affordable, and the food is excellent.
Don't hesitate, go for it!

We celebrated our first anniversary here, and everything was perfectly arranged. In a seperated hall, they had decorated two extra seperated tables with candles in the form of a heart... petals (roses) on the tables and on the floor... roses here and there... dinner was great! In a very romantic atmosphere

Even this time we stay at another hotel we returned to Sophie Cafe for a small lunch. What to say? Relaxing, fantastic and innovative food, friendly service and free WiFi.

I had a lentil soup with truffle oil and beacon, superb, and the Olivier Salad which came in form of a Sushi Roll with seaweed at the outside. The Olivier in combination with the seaweed was fantastic, never before had such an interesting and fine tasting Olivier. My girlfriend had the duck with apples which was good, but not as good as my two dishes.

Including water, fresh juice, bread (which came with a garlic oil) and 2 espresso the bill came to $ 45 - which is sensational for the quality of food and service.
