In Odessa the streets are built on a grid system, so finding thevway is easier than many other cities. In one of the main streets and named after this Russian writer & poet, there is the former apartment where Aleksander Pushkin lived for about a year. Inside there are photographs and original manuscrips as well as period furniture and fittings. There is some description in English.

Interesting place to visit, it is a museum for the poet Alexander Pushkin which is located in an apartment where he used to live. There are actual manuscripts of his work on display. if you like poetry this place is for you.

Poor Pushkin! You really do not know the most famous Russian poet. Pushkin spent in Odessa 13 months. The museum is in the same building where he lived. If you are the lover of poetry you have to visit museum.

The museum is small and quiet. There are no guidebook or postcards available. However there are some notes in English.

There are a number of paintings of Pushkin (many are modern) and plenty of pretty mementoes from his exile in Odessa where he wrote Bakhchysaray Fountain and some other important works.

Worth a visit...takes about 15 minutes.
