“great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

This Passage in the Odessa centre near the main pedestrian zone boulevard (De Ribas blvd) is such a great place - feels like being in Italy.

“An architectural oasis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2013

The Passage is situated at the main pedistrian street Deribasovskaya in Odessa and are well worth a visit.

The architecture is fantastic. When you stroll into the Passage a new world of architecture open in front of you. It is a silent place.

The shops in passage are not interesting and probably you forgot to look at them, because the architecture is so interesting and take all your attention.

“Great architecture - mediocre shops”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

One of the premier examples of civil architecture from the glorious past.
Filled by mediocre shops not doing justice to the ornate decorations.

“Highly Unusual”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

I have been in the passage periodically since 2000. This overly ornate passageway is worth strolling through to get some idea of the grandeur of Odessa in the Tsarist era. For years, this passage just had ordinary shops with the exception of one of the only "Westernized" small supermarkets on the outdoor entrance. It maintains this clash by not really having luxury shops inside and still has a feeling for what I experienced in other Soviet Republics in the late 90s - a clash of luxury with ordinariness.

“Very beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012

This is the place you should definitely check! But not for shopping. This is a part of city's history, has very beautiful architecture and conveniently located on Deribasovskaya street, across the Gorsad.
