Came here for some coffee after exploring Parque Central, Arco de Santa Catalina, and La Merced. It is a large cafe, bright and clean, with tons of coffee options. I got a frozen mocha frappacino something that was delicious. My sister got a hot cafe mocha that looked pretty good. We shared a slice of the Bailey's pie as a way of celebrating St. Patrick's Day, but it was just ok, nothing special. I also got a small sandwich with a side of tabbouleh salad, both of which were average. It came with an iced tea, which was a surprising added bonus. We sat by a window and watched the happenings around Parque Central. Cafe Barista is in a nice location convenient to some of Antigua's landmarks and sights. I would recommend coming here for the coffee, but skip the food.
