“A bit disorganized”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Stopped in for a cup of hot coco and seemed to walk into a bit of chaos. After wandering around a bit, we found a table to sit and waited... and waited.. until we were finally able to get a waitress to give us some attention. The Coco itself was very good, and I would suggest stopping in for a taste, but do check you ticket. Even though the Menu clearly states that tip is not included, they forced a tip on us.

Cute, free, and interesting stop in town. In the courtyard of the building there is a crafts market as well.

“The Chocolate Class and Tour are Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014

I visited ChocoMuseo with a few friends. We took the tour and chocolate making class. It was very informative. Not only did we make our own chocolate to take as a souvenir, we got to try hot chocolate a few different ways. I believe the cost was 180Q and it was completely worth it. There is also a wide variety of items to purchase such as coffee, body products and sweets.

Hint- This should be a last day activity if you don't have anywhere to store the chocolate (from the class). It melts very easily.

“Lots to learn”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

A small place where you can sample chocolate, drink chocolate tea and learn about the chocolate making process. The workshop is about 150/180 Quetzals.

“Interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

It´s really fun to hear (english or spanish) the history of the chocolate, the process that takes to make different things with cacao, they give an apron and then you can make your own chocolate.
You can learn and taste the chocolate liquor with banana, chili or coffee.
A very fun expererience.
