I love this hotel! The architecture, colonial and elegant and cozy at the same time. The beds are comfty , the bathroom design is beautiful. Loved the breakfast, especially the traditional guatemalan sweet bread... Since there is always room for improvement, my only suggestion to the hotel is to not put a limit to the number of devices that can connect to the wifi- if you are traveling for work as I was it is important to be able to connect all your devices...
I travel a lot and this is definitely one of my faves.

This hotel is fantastic! Luxurious rooms, beautiful grounds and amenities, and impeccable service! What a refuge from the dusty noisy streets of Antigua, and the food at breakfast was fantastic as well. Can't say a bad thing about our 3 night stay this week, would highly recommend it! Well worth the splurge!

This hotel was an upgrade by our tour company, Discover Honduras. After some long travel times (it was Good Friday-lots of traffic from Guatemala City and non-stop processions), it was a delight to check in to this elegant spot. Room was wonderful- comfy beds and spacious bathroom. Décor was amazing-all fresh flower arrangements had a purple theme as that is the Easter Antigua colour. Elaborate fresh and dried flower "carpet' was created right outside the hotel in celebration, and there was coffee and hot chocolate provided (as well as carved watermelon sculptures). Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Staff very cheerful and eager to please. Well situated also.

Room Tip: We had the room by the spa but it closed at 9:00 so it wasn't a sleep issue.

This hotel is extraordinary. The location is near the center of Antigua but not so close that you are disturbed by noise, traffic and other elements in this small but historic town in Guatemala. From the time we arrived the staff was warm, hospitable and very helpful. The rooms are well decorated and the beds offer exceptional sleep comfort. The bathrooms require some maneuver due to limited space but overall very comfortable. The corridors are accented with the elegance and charm that is Antigua. The restaurant offered an amazing breakfast which featured local cuisine and entices you to stay a while, which we did. The only caution is that a large jacuzzi is located in the center of the hotel and young ones like to wade in the pool which makes for loud voices. A room in that area will offer little serenity during the time its open.

We would go back and stay longer.

Set in the historical town of Antigua, the hotel is a perfect get away for couples. After 10 minutes I wrote to my wife and told her I found the perfect place for our second honeymoon. Everything about this hotel looked and felt romantic. The rooms feels luxurious. Every part of the grounds was a photo setting. In Antigua itself there are many small shops, great restaurants, great architecture and a great sense of history.

I can't say enough about how wonderfully clean and tastefully decorated this property is. There is beauty and little extras at every turn. The staff are amazing and take care of any need you may have. They lent us an umbrella to walk uptown. Thankfully we didn't need it.

It's hard to believe that this hotel is only a few years. The designers did an amazing job of making it look rustic, yet modern. From the cobblestone driveway to the candle lit rooms, walkways and common areas, the hotel has a real sense of warmth to it. I found the staff to be very pleasant, the food to be very good and the overall value to be exceptional. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful courtyards and amazing bathrooms. The price and location are very competitive as well. I will definitely stay here again.
