“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2012

The entrance looked like a small cafe, but once inside, you can go to sit under a canopy in the organic garden. Most of the ingredients are grown there, like the fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers.....so everything is very fresh. I totally enjoyed the experience & the freshness of the food was the reason I went back there. They also sell home made bakeries & fruit preserves, plus some local art work.

“Excellence in all respects”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2011

I started visiting Sabe Rico five years ago when I first moved to Antigua. Back then, they were a small take-out only deli. Even then there pre-cooked take-out meals were a blessing to me when I did not want to spend an hour or more sitting in a restaurant. I just wanted a good healthy meal on the run.
Since then, Sabe Rico has expanded into a full restaurant, plus catering events, plus secret garden retreat from the busy streets of Antigua. I loved Sabe Rico from the first time I walked through the doors, and continue to go back each time I am in the area.

“Good Food in a Great Setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2011

We ate breakfast here and it was a nice, quiet restaurant with a nice setting. Very beaufitul. Food was good and we even enjoyed the company of Tina, the dog.

“Still good after 6 times”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2011

We have been to this Antigua establishment a total of 6 times; lunch and breakfast. We have consistently had good food and average service (maybe because we are in the gardens and it's the old "out of sight, to of mind" thing at work). We recommend for lunch and a great sandwich with a tranquil setting in the gardens. The gourmet shop is also wonderful - fresh breads, meals to go, and other culinary delights.
