Went here a few nights ago to celebrate a birthday. The meal was excellent. The bread delicious, and the pasta was out of this world. I will be going here on a regular basas now!

The best Pizza of the Antigua Guatemala accompanied of a good salad of cheeses and wine. To share with the family and friends. Pizza in oven of fuelwood, the best flavor.

Pretty awesome pizza, and their mozzarella cheese chunk, olive oil and vinegar salad is good. There is a fella who plays music on a trumpet. Could be a romantic spot at night...

I tried many pizzas in antigua from various restaurants, I have to admit this is the best pizza in antigua period. They have a big stone oven in the patio. You can actually sit in the patio bar and watch your pizza get made.

The restaurant is located a block west of Iglesia la Merced, it was a bit hard to get to but once there you can either choose to eat in the patio or inside. The patio is nice and depending on the weather, the best choice. Service was lacking a bit since no one greeted me and I had to ask for a menu. But once seated, service was up to par somewhat.

The pizza took about 15min to bake. I ordered the Capricciosa pizza, which was a mozzarella cheese pizza with olives, mushrooms, ham pizza. It was baked in the stone oven with actual fire wood. The crust is impeccable, crunchy on the edges but soft close to the center. The ingredients are fresh and the cheese... oh the cheese... was just heavenly. All of the flavors melted in your mouth and at points your mouth might become watery.

The bill as expected might be on the expensive side, but well worth it. Tip included which I did not like since I was by myself.

Overall, I would go back and recommend. Be sure to go after 6pm since only then you will be able to order pizzas, also I think you can order pizzas from 12 noon to 2pm. Weird, I know.
