Hermanos Paul and Dana and I had dinner at Hector's on our recent visit to Antigua. Hector's is a cozy place that will seat twenty at most, including the seating at the entrance.
We started off with an appetizer of grilled tomatoes, cheese and basil in balsamic vinegar. We used our bread to sop up all the juice available to get every bit of flavor. Dana and I had the filet medallions with potatoes and grilled tomatoes. Paul had the pasta and sliced beef. Portions were large and the food was excellent. Hector's well deserves its number one rating for restaurants in Antigua. Hector's is across from the plaza at La Merced.
