We both had fish sandwiches the food was good. It's close to the ferry, you could do slot worse than this place

We had lunch here and took our dog from Hyannis via Steamboat Authority High Speed Ferry over to Nantucket for three hours. Tavern was recommended as pet friendly. We had to tie our dog up outside the fence, but they did seat us right next to the fence. Our dog did fine, but people do stop to pet and talk. Food was average but close to the ferry so we didn't have to run to make it.

This is a busy restaurant right where the ferries come in. Great for people watching, but not if you want something quiet & cozy. We met friends here for a late dinner. They were able to accommodate our group of 10, which included older children. There is a varied menu with lots of choices and things that appealed to the kids. Pretty basic, but my lobster roll was surprisingly tasty (and I'm a lobster roll snob), the clam chowder and lobster bisque were also good.

The atmosphere is lively and casual...everything from shorts & polo shirts to dressier sundresses is fine. Service was OK. We didn't want for much, but the waitress didn't seem super friendly.

This is a nice casual restaurant if you're looking for good, basic food and a laid back atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating and good drink menu!

We had a drink in the gazebo first, then sat outside for our meal. We were entertained by some of the best people watching on Nantucket. The clam chowder and calamari were great, as were the mussels.

Great food. We had the half sandwich with a cup of chowder. At home it would be expensive, in NAntucket a good price $12.95
