Lobster is good but the atmosphere is rather hot and stuffy. With so many choices would probably not go back for dinner. The outside bar looked fun for live music at night.

I have been here a few times not by choice. Not impressed they use a lot of salt and butter on all there dishes - too much. The kids menu doesn't have anything healthy on it we had to order an adults meal and split it between the children as all the childrens food was fried or very processed. Not a place to go and eat healthy. I even tried ordering the salad it was okay not all iceberg lettuce which was refreshing but nothing to recommend. We had to specifically ask for veggies and I think all they had was 1 offering. Many other places that are better to pick from on the island. It is a laid back atmosphere good for children not to fancy or stuffy

We like the simplicity and friendliness of this bar and restaurant where locals meet. It is a little be off the downtown so you need to turn the corner to find it.

Reasonably priced. Simple traditional lobster dishes. Not fancy.
Would recommend the steamed lobster rather than the baked stuffed. Stuffing was good, but lobster a little dried out. Within walking distance of downtown

We ventured to ACK for the day and had the last fast ferry out. We found the "Trap" while just walking around and initially thought it was just a bar. We wanted some local seafood so in we went. There were just a few customers which seemed strange for a Friday night but that soon changed. The service was great, the food did not disappoint (lobster & steamers) and was plentiful. The decor is low key but what you expect for a seafood resto in a seaside town. As the evening rolled along, the bar and restaurant filled out and what started out as a "not-so-sure" turned into a perfect evening. We made the last ferry out - very satisfied!
