“Melville's Queequeg has tremendous cuisine”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Named after a character in Moby Dick, Queequeg's is a small restaurant with tremendous cuisine. My husband had to have the Waygu slider appetizer and asked if it could be an entree it was so good. Had it be open Sundays, we would have gone back the next evening.

“Lovely Spot”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

This restaurant was excellent. For $25 you received an entree and either an app or a desert. . So we split an app ...arachini (sp?)
exceptionally delicious. We then had swordfish and scallops for entrees. I have sort of lost it for swordfish but this changed my mind....truly tasty as well were the scallops. The chocolate lava cake was also good.
The atmosphere is just what you want when you go the Nantucket...cozy and inviting. I bet it can be crazy in trhe summer, but in Dec ..perfect.

“Delicious food and adorable restaurant!”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

We had never heard of this restaurant, but staff from the Jared Coffin House (where we were staying) recommended it. We LOVED the cozy little restaurant and the food was outstanding! What a find!

“Don't go!”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

We were very disapointed with our dinner. While the service was excellent the food was terrible. Steaks came out from the kitchen cold and had to be sent back. The scallops served were bay scallops and not worth the price. They had a great selection of wine and beer but the quality of the food for the price was really not worth it to us. It is my experience that restaurants in the off-season usually do a really nice job and treat their customers well with nice portions and quality food. We were really disappointed with this meal.

“Great food but beware if it is cold outside”

Outstanding service great food but it was freezing inside the restaurant. One of the patrons dined in her winter coat. Think ill wait to visit again during warmer weather
