The food was delicious, it just melted in your mouth. The service was very good. The atmosphere was very chic but not too stuffy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Lunch outside at dune was exceptional. Great food, especially the grilled swordfish, and excellent service. On a warm earlly fall day, being outside was lovely. We were excited to return the next evening for dinner inside and our B&B made a reservation for us. We were standing right there and we were part of the conversation so we know it was done correctly.

Arriving at 8, we were told we didn't have a reservation! I said the person at Dune had been distracted and had been making his own arrangements to drop off a package for his parents who were staying at thr B&B that weekend. After further checking, we were told our reservation had been made for 6pm not 8pm. We could see empty tables inside but were brought outside on a damp, rainy night. When our meal was served, we were out there alone with one couple. It felt like we were being punished for not arriving at 6 even though that was their mistake. There was never any hint of an apology. I guess we should be lucky we were seated at all.

Our server Gregory who I don't think knew anything about this provided great service. The food, while still good, was not as great as lunch the previous day. Although maybe eating. It in the cold, damp, and dark tent that we were also told was supposedly heated had an impact on the food, too.

If I was going back which is unlikely, I guess I would call and confirm the reservation. It was the last night of our trip and while we made the most of it, it was a disappointment to end up outside during the rain when we had specifically made an inside reservation for our last nice meal.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Very inventive food, beautifully prepared, and our waitress was fabulous. Not snooty, very engaging. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Go there!

Thank mackerel
