We had one of the best meals ever at Met on Main the other night!. Last year the food was good but this year it is really up a notch. They have redone the clam chowda and all I can say is WOW! A large steamy bowl of chowda arrives with clams piled high. It is hot, the broth is lighter than last year and perfectly seasoned. The fried calamari - all I can say is we fought over it - again it arrived piping hot and the side sauce is a perfectl compliment. On to the main course - their version of Chicken under a brick - I asked for my extra crispy and that it is the way it arrived on a cheesy bed of polenta. The signature cocktails are great, the wine list broad enough so you have a choice of prices and the atmosphere very friendly.
