I own Events by Meagan and recently helped with the Day of Coordination for a wedding that was held at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort. Not only was their event staff organized, timely and always with a smile on their face (particularly Michaela), but the venue itself was absolutely gorgeous beyond words! I really look forward to planning many more events at this location and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a beautiful spot with such friendly and accommodating staff.

Nantucket has many B&B's, hotels and inns to chose from however the Nantucket Hotel and Resort beats them all! Everything about the Nantucket is perfect from the friendly staff, comfortable rooms, multiple pools, the jacuzi and the first rate gym. A quick walk to town and the beach, the Nantucket is perfect for both families and couples wanting a romantic vacation. We have been to Nantucket numerous times and the Nantucket Hotel and Resort is our favorite place to stay.

Whether you have been to Nantucket once, a dozen times, or this is your very first visit, THE Nantucket is the place to stay. It is situated in an ideal and convenient location, the customer service there is unparalleled, and the variety in room style and size provides comfortable options for couples, small families like us, and even larger families. The hotel itself is not just "newer" but the overall layout is comforting and relaxing and gives guests plenty of room to spread out. Whether poolside, playing a board game in the lobby area, or enjoying a drink on the front porch, we were in heaven. The hotel staff does a fabulous job of making this a very child-friendly resort while still catering to the needs of others who aren't traveling with children. Whatever customer service standard they set with their staff has been exceeded in our eyes. Thank you "N", we will see you again very soon!

First time back in Nantucket in ~30 years. Great location, a few blocks walk from the ferry. Our family of 4 stayed in the Mariner's Suite, which served us well (except for only 1 bathroom). Clean, nicely decorated, staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary shuttle to the ferry. Great fitness center on the ground floor: best on the trip. 2 pools and 1 jacuzzi (a bit hot at 105-106 degrees). Wonderful continental breakfast. The owner, Mr. Snyder and his wife, visited with us twice and was very interested and solicitous. Don't miss turning on the steam-powered whale at the front desk. Traffic in Nantucket Town, even early in the season, has become heavy and disruptive.

Room Tip: Higher floors offer a semblance of views.

My husband and I stayed at the Nantucket Hotel and Resort for 3 nights this past weekend (early June of 2014). It was wonderful!! Everything from the hotel staff, to the room itself, to the food was great. everyone was so friendly and helpful. We felt like they went above and beyond to more sure our stay was great. Upon arrival, we had balloons, a personal note from the GM, and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room!!! we had told them prior to arrival that we were celebrating a birthday and our anniversary. we also got massages at the hotel spa. i am not a massage "regular", but i've had a handful of massages at various places. This was by far the best massage i've ever had. it's a must if you are staying at the Nantucket Hotel. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. we loved the coziness of the hotel and how updated it was. i wish we could have stayed longer!!! it is a great location.....walking distance to downtown and to jetties beach. i would definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling as a couple, with friends, or with kids (we have two little ones that would have been very comfortable at this hotel had we brought them with us. it's very family-friendly, yet we enjoyed our time there without the kids just as much!)

Room Tip: The top floor might have the least amount of noise from above.......

Great service from the hotel. They picked us up from the Hyline ferry, stored our bags and drove us to Surfside beach, picked us up AND then took us to Millie's since our cab driver didn't show up. They also had balloons in our room and chocolate covered strawberries since it was our Anniversary. The pool is great for an after beach and the gym is nice too. The breakfast that was included was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter even got special hot sauce for me when I asked. When we were ready to depart they offered to bring our bags to the ferry since we were going to enjoy the day sightseeing. Could not have been a better stay. Perfect for celebrating a special occasion and was very relaxing.

We stayed here for a family reunion and honestly we (well, my Mom) couldn't have picked and better place. The location was perfect. Close enough to downtown for a short stroll to the shops, yet enough off the beaten path to feel like an oasis after a night out for dinner and drinks.

The hotel is new but has all the little charms that make it feel like it's been a part of Nantucket forever. We felt like locals and loved it. If you are looking for a warm welcome to Nantucket, this is your place.

PS: Make sure you check out the mechanical whale at the front desk. It's hilarious!

Room Tip: Ours overlooked the pool!
