Thank you for the glowing review, we love to celebrate guest's special occasions. Even though it was early Spring there were still plenty of restaurants to choose from. Hope to see you again.

We recently came to the Regatta Inn on a short visit to Nantucket. The inn was lovely and in a perfect location for exploring the Island. But what made the Inn extra special was the innkeeper Lynn. Lynn was warm, friendly and super helpful. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable at the Inn. Lynn also provided the most delicious breakfasts. A lovely place made even better due to Lynn, the lovely innkeeper

After spending two wonderful visits at the Centerboard in the last couple of years this time I decided to follow Lyn, the innkeeper, to her new digs across the street at the Regatta. This is a brand-new renovated inn and it is beautifully appointed in a seaside soft color scheme .
But what makes this inn it particularly special is the attention Lyn gives her guests. She is very friendly and welcoming.
As a lifelong food snob and retired dessert caterer I was once again very impressed by the variety and quality of the breakfasts: fruit salad, yogurt, nuts, Lyn's homemade granola, croissants, homemade blueberry muffins, date and walnut scones (after all Lyn is English! ), For tea:white chocolate cranberry macadamia nut cookies, chocolate hazelnut tart, walnut tart are just a few choices.

She recommended Dune and Black-eyed Susans restaurants which were fabulous with very interesting menus.
Nantucket as always was wonderful and the weather was amazing for the middle of April ...60 degrees and sunny.
All in all , once again, a wonderful stay! Thank you Lyn!

Thank you from us all for not only returning once but twice and trying out the new inn. It is always our pleasure to welcome back return guests and hopefully impress them each time. April, although quiet on the island has it's positive side, restaurants are opening up, the spring flowers are beginning to bloom- and walks on the beach are just fine with sunsets to die for.

The location is perfect, the inn is beautiful. Lyn who is the innkeeper is very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was great and it was a great stay. Next time I go to Nantucket I will definitely be staying there. It was the best trip I have ever taken.

Nestled in the historic part of Nantucket, The Regatta Inn is both cozy and modern. The innkeeper Lyn is incredibly helpful, as well as a fantastic cook. Though it was my first time visiting the island, her recommendations and advice made my boyfriend and I feel like we'd been going there for years. Lyn also went the extra mile in setting up a surprise birthday cake I'd ordered for my boyfriend while we were away at dinner. It was such a treat to return to our room and have it there waiting for us with candles in it and everything! Breakfast every morning was fantastic, and kept us full well into early afternoon, and the afternoon tea service was equally impressive. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Lyn, the manager is very accommodating, attempting to cater to all her guests needs. She makes delicious breakfasts, with homemade baked goods (scones, blueberry muffins) and granola.  In addition, there were plenty of other foods and fruits. Lyn kept breakfast open for me because I did the Triathalon and wouldn't be back until 11am. Tip:  eat breakfast early, otherwise you won't need lunch.

The Inn features new rooms and bathrooms, special bath toiletries, linens, Frette Turkish towels and robes, great a/c.

The 5pm wine and cheese spread was amazing with several delicious wines, cheeses, crackers, and fruits. It's a great way to relax and meet fellow guests.

Lyn tries to think of everything and keeps a clean, relaxing inn for guests. She is always available but not intrusive and goes out of her way to be sure you have everything you need. For example, there are beach chairs with backpack straps and big beach towels to make a trip to the beach easy.

The Inn has a good location on Center Street, a short walk to Main street.  It's a bit longer to beach but still an easy walk or bike ride since the Inn is just a block from Broad street.

Lyn makes everyone feel comfortable-- we hung out half the day after checking out, eating our own lunch, reading the Sunday NYT, drying off from the rain, and waiting for our ferry. This was not awkward at all, like it is in some inns where there are rules.

If you are looking for a high-end inn with a great location, the Regatta Inn is a fabulous place.

Thank you so much for reviewing the Regatta and for mentioning it's attributes, close to town and within easy biking distance of beaches. I am personally so pleased you enjoyed breakfast and tea and that the relaxed pace was to your liking. I hope you will return for this triathlon and stay with us here.

The Inn is beautiful, with an updated but cozy decor, and our room was clean, bright and modern, but still holding all the Nantucket charm. The Innkeeper Lyn was as nice and friendly as could be, and breakfast was delicious: a wonderful and exquisitely prepared selection of warm and cold offerings, as well as baled goods and delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Highly recommended!
