This place is the real deal. Small, cozy, and run by a delightful and efficient family team. If you like Korean food, eat here. If you haven't tried it yet, eat here. They have tables but also a large table for sitting on the floor. They do a very active take out business so if it is crowded then take it home. Clientele are Asians, soldiers from Ft. Devens, staff from the local prisons, and locals, and the other lucky people who have found this place. You will be given hot tea, a selection of vegatables (Kim Chee both hot and sweet and others) and soup with each meal. Then order Bi Bim Bop or other familiar dishes - or live large and pick something out of your comfort zone. The appetizers are always a good way to start - scallion pancake or Korean rice rolls.

We went here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed an exceptional dinner. As we travel we are always seeking out Korean restaurants wherever we go; this one didn't disappoint! For the record, they really are family size servings... LOTS of food! We ordered the Kim Chi Pa Jun (kim chi pancake), Kim Chi Ji Ge (spicy pork soup with kim chi, tofu and pork), Bulgogi and Mapo Tofu. There were 5 incredibly good banchas to go with it all... each very well spiced and flavorful. A wonderful family business... we'll be sure to go back when we are in town!!

Woo Jung has been providing family style Korean meals for a number of years. The food has the authentic flavors and ingredients and is a favorite of the local Korean community.

The restaurant is small and basic and has a brisk take out business. My personal favorites are Yook Je Jang (pork soup), be him bob (hand rolls) and Mapo tofu.

Food is always fresh and tasty. Not your average fare. If you are looking for something much better than your average chinese/american, try this tiny Korean gem in Ayer. Delicious flavors and variety. Friendly service and small but clean restaurant.
