Right on Mass Ave...not very far from Harvard...the suite we stayed in was very clean, even to the point that housekeeping left a note to say the dishes had been washed and dated it. Very nice free hot breakfast, and I saw that on some nights they even had a free hot supper for the guests. Cambridge is a nightmare to park in...and if you can find a place to park it is very expensive, but this hotel had free parking in a garage under the hotel with an elevator to the lobby.

Room Tip: Check out is NOON which we found to be great.

It's great to see by your review that you enjoyed your stay with us and we appreciate your pointing out some of the key valuable amenities we include that make a stay here so cost-effective. The point you made about parking is very true, and although it's fun to think about "pahking one's cah in Hahvahd Yahd" (in a New England accent )the reality is, if it's possible to park it's generally very expensive plus our location next to public transportation offers even more convenience. Thank you again!

The Homewood Suites in Cambridge has a great home-like feel. All of the rooms are spacious suites featuring a full size fridge and microwave as well as a cook top, so they are great for longer term stays. The hotel also offers breakfast daily, and dinner 4 nights a week.

The hotel’s style is slightly dated and there are some signs of wear, but never is anything dirty or un-kept. My favorite part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make guests feel at home. It’s a great place to return to time and time again if you are doing business in the area.

The hotel is walking distance from shops, restaurants, and a little river walk. It’s also right on a bus stop and a not too far walk to Davis Square.

I would not here if you are looking for a luxury get-a-way or a romantic weekend, but if you are in the area on business, it’s a great place to feel welcomed and at home, while you are away.

Finding nice affordable logding around Cambridge can be a real challenge, so this hotel was a great surprise. It's right on the T bus line, with busses running down Mass Ave every 10 minutes right into Harvard Square for $1.50. Parking is free, another bonus. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-managed, with a great breakfast included with the room. Just across the street is a pathway leading to miles and miles of greenway running / biking path. It's a perfect place to stay, and a place I have every intention of returning to in the future.

I reserved a room for my father who came to visit. For some reason he was charged twice and received two confirmation e-mails before his stay. He gave the hotel a call and they assured him that it was a mistake, that he would not be charged twice and that they are not keeping two sets of rooms for him. However, when the bill came, he was charged twice and the hotel refused to refund the money even after telling him that this exact thing would not happen. I tried calling the manager and left 5 messages but the manager has refused to take my calls, reply to me or contact me in any way. This is absolutely unbelievable!

This hotel may be ok to stay in, but if you have any problems, don't expect anyone to help you out or even talk to you. Terrible experience.

my family and i stayed at this hotel for 5 nights so i could attend red sox games, hotel was beautiful and well maintained, our 1 bedroom suite was very spacious and very, very clean. breakfast was very good, great selection. dinners at night were delicious and the staff were outstanding(very courteous, pleasant and helpful), the T was a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk. if your going to fenway , i suggest you drive to T . they have a huge parking lot. fee is minimal. red line(alwife) to green line (park st) then to kenmore square. hotel located 15 min. walk to davis sq. where all kinds of shops , restaurants, movie theater and street entertainment by aspiring performers. a little out of the way for baseball games but well worth it to stay here. the price was excellent for boston and for what you get is well worth it.
