This is indeed treacherous terrain. We risked taking the car down the track as it was dry, but not for the faint-hearted. Yet another aspect of this glorious isle, with views down a very steep and slippery slope to the lovely Crystal Pool, but it would take someone braver and much fitter than us to venture down. We did enjoy sitting back at the top "parking" area on a seat to watch the progress of a pod of migrating whales, but be aware that this is not really a developed or maintained venue.

Found on the south west part of the island. Parking on Rocky Point road up top is handy, for those times when its been raining, as the dirt track down to the point is impassible when wet, it is quite the 4WD path even when its dry, so if you are not a confident driver i suggest you walk down.
Good views out to Nepean and Phillip islands. Watch your step when walking around on the uneven ground in this area.

Extensive views over the ocean from high rocky grass covered cliffs. Walk requires care and fitness. Views are breath taking with the blues of ocean contrasted with the verdent greens of the vegetation.

A steep walk, not one I would do if the ground was damp, and not suitable for anyone elderly. But great views and the chance to get some great photos at the end of it. The colour of the ocean is sometimes hard to believe.

the hill down from the car park is quite steep and I would not go here in muttonbird nesting season as there are hundreds of nesting holes on the grassy knoll leading up to the point. In September the birds have not yet arrived, so just watch your step....from here you can see west to the sunset, but also south, and east back to Pt Hunter, which was fabulous watching the colours of the clouds as the sun went down
