Broad Leaf Villas
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Having just returned from Norfolk I found Broad Leaf Villas to be immaculately clean and comfortable. Burnt Pines township is only a short stroll down the road and a walk down the hill to Kingston is a great way to start the day. Emily Bay is only a few minutes by car. Our car came with the villa.
Karleen who works at Broad Leaf is a local expert on diving and snorkelling in the area.
We would definitely stay again.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us! We are always getting great comments about the location which is so handy to everything! We are also about to start our next phase of renovations with a focus on the kitchens and soft furnishings over the quieter period which will make the Villas even more homely. We hope to see you back on our beautiful island agin! Kylie & Michael

We were not met at the airport, we had to wait a long time until a bus was ready to give us a lift. When dropped off at the villas there was no one there to meet us. We couldn't find anyone around. We stood outside for over an hour in the hot sun until I decided to walk to Channers Corner Units to ask someone for help. They very kindly made a phone call for us to get someone to come. The carer for the Villas had not been expecting us. When eventually we were let into the unit it was stuffy, full of dead flies, spiders and cockroaches. Not pleasent. We went to the tour office and complained and a lovely lady was sent to clean the unit and she did a very good job. We were given a bottle of wine as consolation. I have emailed Marion Christian (the booking contact, who apparently does'nt even live on the Island), but have had absolutely no reply. This is our 2nd visit to Norfolk we love it and we will be back but NOT TO BROADLEAF VILLAS!

We are very sorry for your terrible experience. I received your email on the weekend in which I replied and apologised and offered to refund you one nights accommodation and the weekly car insurance plus offering you the local rate if you decide you would like to come back in the future. As explained in the email our Manager was on leave that week and our new member had the incorrect times for the arrival of the flight so was not there to meet you and ensure that the room was ready for your arrival (which is not acceptable from our end and was discussed with the team member). I have resent the email through to you again now. In terms of our reservations, yes we do this off the island for all bookings and our team on the ground look after our guests once they arrive. Once again Michael and I are very sorry for this terrible experience and we sincerely apologise. Kylie & Michael Sterling

The Villas are well appointed in a peaceful, beautiful surround. The rooms and bathroom is clean, spacious and comfortable and if you have a balcony the view is very nice. I would recommend Broad Leaf Villas to my friends and the rest of my family for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The bonus car supplied is very handy to get to the other parts of the island which is an absolute must. The manager was friendly and oblidging nothing was an imposition.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony facing in a westerly aspect, the view is lovely with some very tall Norfolk Pin...

Finding a suitable place to stay whilst travelling with my father was a bit of a chore until I stumbled across Broad Leaf Villa's. Outstanding. We had our own beautifully appointed rooms with an ensuite each which was a bonus. Villa was roomy and comfortable with our own courtyard and car space. From being picked up at the airport to being dropped back off, our stay was fabulous. When we go back again, this is certainly the place we would stay. Would recommend to anyone!!

We found Norfolk to be the best place for a real relaxing holiday. From the moment you get off the plane the atmosphere is relaxing. The Broadleaf Villas are well appointed in beautiful grounds. The Car is an excellent bonus that gives you the freedom to go and come as you please. The managers are very responsive to any requirements. The whole holiday was an excellent experience we will definitely be coming back again. Many thanks.

It had been 16 years since we last visted this beautiful island and as soon as we arrived we felt we had gone back to the good old days'! Apart from seat belts in the cars ,everything was like I remembered it in 1998 with that sense of peacefulness & tranquility that comes from being in a safe haven.

Our hosts made as welcome as soon as we arrived at the airport & by making sure we were well versed in the layback theme of the island. Our accomodation was spaciously first class with delicious fresh fruit on arrival. Our hosts were very generous & thoughtful inf giving us a mobile phone with a $10 credit for use on the islands mobile service.

Shopping is world class with clothing & footwear brands from Europe ,not readily available on the Sunshine Coast & much cheaper than Brisbane!

Coffee venues were excelent with a great variety of eateries & a different eating theme available most nights of the week .

" A must do off ones bucket list'!!!!!!

I recently visited Norfolk Island for a sightseeing trip and stayed in Broad Leaf Villas in the one bedroom apartment. It was perfect for my needs with the car provided and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in the town. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. Would recommend to others.
