“Interesting place to visit”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Visited in August, I had passed the building a couple of times and deceived to drop in and have a look, very interesting, well worth a visit and the audio visual is very informative. I thought there may be more actual exhibits but perhaps because of the nature of the atrocities there weren't any left to show! Well done Skopje, another good Tourist attraction

“Nice memorial for the Jewish strugle”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

A nice memorial place for the Jewish strugle in the city center. After watching the best macedonian movie Third Half i wish to visit this museum. I personaly think that this memorial centar can be more full with artefacts but still is must do on my list. The entrance is free of charge but there are no guides but you will understand from watching the videos on the top floor.

“Very interesting place”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

This place is free to enter and is spread out over 3 floors.
It takes you all through the History of the Jews, leading up to the Germans and the gas camps etc.
A very interesting place with lots of information alongside pictures of real people.

At the end there is a video in English which you can watch also.

“Pretty poor as Jewish museums go.”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

On the upside it's free, and that whilst you aren't permitted to take any photos, there's actually nothing to take photos of. I'm also glad I went, but it's definitely the least interesting Jewish museum I've ever visited.

On the downside it's not an interactive museum (which you'd expect from something completed recently), with just a handful of photos and otherwise just literature and one (fairly good) film. This would be dull for children, and even as an adult I started to find it a little tedious towards the end, and was disappointed with the lack of firm facts or background contexts, but rather the history being told more through anecdotal facts.

Also, the whole interior looks like a conference centre.

“very interesting museum”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

After visiting Auswitz and Birkenau we learned a lot about the Jews in WO2 at the Balcan
The museum is free, a little bit difficult to find, but the collection is a short history about the WO2.
