“Great Lunch spot in Andover, MA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

For a point of reference, I'm used to Sam Lagrassa's in the city. La Rosa's absolutely holds their own north of Boston. Great selection of specialty sandwiches made with quality meats and cheese - very fresh tasting ingredients and the bread is great.
I haven't had the chance to sit down and enjoy the ambience. I've never been disappointed with their take-out.

“Glad to go back”

Had not been back in over a year and the place did not disappoint. Solid Italian sandwich and chick peas salad. Wish I could go more often and try more.

“Must try!”

Excellent food...chef Paul is incredible! Prices are very down to earth. Can't wait until they get their liquor license and add the outdoor seating

“Great Choice for Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

We stopped for lunch at this quaint cafe. Although small, this place bursts with flavors! We stood at the counter for what seemed like a long time, not because of the wait, but because there were so many delicious choices!
One ordered pizza, an original throwback to days of Mamma from Sicily. One ordered a healthy wrap, another a spicy dish and I ordered a soup and tortellini salad.
Although the place is small, it does have outside seating. We chose to eat indoors to accommodate our 10 month old who was very interested in the decor and the friendly people who ohhh'd and ahhh'd at him as they passed our table.
Cleanliness is a mantra there, only trumped by the flavors! Hands were flying as we were testing each other's food!
We loved it so much we got a take out for dinner.
Definitely on our list of "can't wait to visit again!"
Andover: you finally have a cafe that has something for everyone and doesn't break the bank.
