Stayed here for 2 nights in early Nov for a business trip. The hotel is located in a small business park with beautiful trees and a pathway for walking/jogging. It is also next to a Springhill Suites.

The 1-bedroom suite is like a little apartment and offers excellent lay-out and use of space. The kitchenette is fully equipped. There is a desk next to the comfortable couch. Bed is very comfy. There is also a free breakfast in the lobby, followed by evening receptions with varying themes. The 2nd floor has a laundry room.

Overall, the facility is very inviting, clean, and service is friendly. Will definitely return.

My husband and I were attending a weekend gathering in nearby Ipswich, MA and decided to stay at the Residence Inn Andover. For the same price or less than most area hotels and motels, we were delighted to be able to enjoy a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen in a very attractive and clean establishment. I have only good things to say about Residence Inn. It was easy to find, right off I-83 with excellent signage to direct us to the nicely landscaped and very quiet off-the road property. We were warmly greeted and check-in was quick and efficient and my request when making my on-line reservation, for a first floor easily accessible accomodation had been noted and we were given a very convenient location. The desk clerk also cheerfully provided printed information including excellent directions to area restaurants for dinner. The included breakfast all three mornings of our stay was a pleasant departure from the usual hotel/motel free meal. There were make your own waffles and an offering of several cold cereals, pastries, muffins, yogurt, and fresh fruit, toast and bagels, but each day also featured a different menu of hot foods. Some of the selections included scrambled eggs, different breakfast meats, sausage and gravy, biscuits, home fries, potato wedges, pancakes, and every day there was also already prepared hot oatmeal with a variety of tempting toppings and an endless supply of juices and hot coffee and tea. The breakfast hostess was excellent! She and the friendly gentleman assisting her made sure that all serving dishes were kept full and either piping hot or icy cold and that the tables and entire breakfast area were spotlessly clean and neat. We weren't there for the evening meal that is offered some days, but did notice that there were fresh cookies available every afternoon at the front desk. The grounds were nicely maintained and there was excellent building security with outside doors that open only by key cards. Our suite was clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and very comfortable. All employees we encountered were friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend the Residence Inn for business or leisure travelers and for extended stays and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to the area.

Room Tip: Parking lots are located on either end of the building so if mobility is an issue you might want to...

Dear DH1806,

Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel with details.
I am happy to read that you appreciated our staff and had a real experience during your stay with us. Raquel is our breakfast star and always makes sure that our food buffet is full and clean.
Cleanness is very important and we take pride at our hotel.
We baked our cookies in house daily which adds a special touch at arrival.
Thanks for being our guest and I look forward to serve you in the future.

Sincerely,
Priscilla Dias

This is like taking your home with you to a real nice central location: not far away from Boston, not far from the ocean, not far from Salem, not far from Wrentham Premium Outlets, etc. Even Cape Cod, the Berkeshires and the White Mountains are within reach. The suites are like little apartments with their fully equiped kitchen, the nice living area, the separated bedroom(s) and the small, but sufficient bathroom. And even breakfast is included in the quite fair price. Two remarks: the receptionist was not so attentive - not rude, just not-welcoming - at the check-in, although my husband has been staying here often the last 12 years. The Pool was already closed for the season although the weather was really nice. We stayed from September 22 till 28 2013.

Needed a place to stay with my daughter before dropping her off at BU. We needed to do all our college shopping so we needed the suite with the extra space. The carpet was ok. Could use to be changed. Not dirty just old.We shared the very comfortable queen size bed. Bathroom a little small, but toiletries very nice. Great towels. Big fridge, full kitchen was nice to have. Our kitchen had outdated cabinetry, not like in the website pictures, but we did not care.
We did not cook but put our food in the fridge. Breakfast is included and not great, except for the oatmeal, fruit and yogurts/soy milk selection. We loved the location, it's close enough to the malls Would definitely stay here again.

I thought this place was great. I was looking for a hotel nearer to Boston but gave up because of the outrageous prices in and around there. In the end I could just as quickly get from here to most areas northside of Boston.

The hotel rooms (suites, really) are just fantastic especially if one's planning to stay for longer period of time. They have breakfast in the hotel but in my opinion it wasn't on par with everything else. Nonetheless it was free so can't complain, really.

Location-wise this hotel is just a bit off from anywhere; in the middle of a technology park with little/no services, so one really needs a car to go shopping or sightseeing. Positive is that it's really quiet especially on weekends.

Room Tip: At least the SW corner room was next to a noisy AC/fan, and a door to the parking lot. Luckily my ro...

This is my favorite place to stay in Andover , Mass. The rooms all have a full kitchen, separate sitting room, in the studios and 1 or 2 bedrooms. The rooms are very clean, comfy beds and it's off of the main road , so it's pretty quiet. Great for business travel or with the family. A decent size pool in the Summer is quite nice and clean, with a basketball court and BBQ's. It's also dog friendly and has a fantastic complimentary breakfast.

A very clean place with reasonable prices and very comfortable accomodations. We recently visited with three other couples and we booked a two-bedroom suite and a one-bedroom room. There was maid service every day. The price included a hot/ cold breakfast each morning with enough variety to please everyone. The grounds were neatly kept. The only down thing I can mention is the fact that it only had elevators on one side of the building. We traveled with a person who had a challenge walking and climbing steps and it so happened that our rooms were on the opposite side of the building which made it extremely difficult for our friend to walk the distance. Other than that we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!
