Burritos are FANTASTIC, the vibe is very laid back and it's definitely a "local" spot meaning you have to know about it to find it. I have been eating here for over 10 years and still come back when I am in the area. Highly recommend to anyone!

as always bueno is bueno. I've never had a bad meal here and the location is perfect. sort of like a speakeasy you have to know where to find it and I love that about this place. Its a landmark in Amherst and a must visit for authentic and delicious mexican food for reasonable prices.

Bueno y sano is some of the best burritos around! They are huge and filling and cheap! We ate here all the time while in college. It was even on the food channel "Best Thing I Ever Ate!" Definitely go here!

Tried this after reading reviews here and liked it a lot. The burritos were huge and you can customize to suit your taste. Will return!

I went to UMass over a decade ago and loved this place. Over Labor Day weekend 2012 I brought my boyfriend by and it was just as good as I remember - maybe better!
A tip for vegetarian/vegan diners - seitan burrito with guacamole. It is to die for!
