Ate at Judie's when visiting UMASS with my son as my cousin who lives in Springfield area told me that this was the place to go...& he was right. We are vegetarian & they were really accommodating. We were told just about anything on the menu could be made vegetarian for us! Had the vegetable platter with plenty of fresh roasted veggies! My son had the ravioli & stated that "this is the way ravioli is supposed to be" as the ravioli were quite large and there was a large pile of them on the plate. I got the porobella sandwich on whole wheat. It was huge with almost too much porobella! Judy came by to sit & visit with us & the family seated next to us. She's a real character & was probably coming off her ADD meds at the time as she was bounding off the walls. She had to show the guy at the next table the proper way to eat his popover (their specialty) & practically fed it to him. She was pushing his hands together on the popover, putting the sauce on it for him & even wiped his mouth with the napkin after! Our waitress was cute & very efficient but Judy really got her all wound up & talking a mile a minute. In the end we regretted getting the veggie platter only because we were too stuffed but we enjoyed the food & the entertainment (Judy), all at a decent price. We will definitely eat there again when visiting in Amherst!
