“Almost better”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Used to go to this charming restaurant for years. Stopped going when the owner came out of the kitchen, the menu changed and the food quality plummeted.
returned recently, and enjoyed our meal. Not a "wow" experience, but definitely better than before. My one complaint, and has always been an issue is their slow service. Not sure if it's tied to te kitchen, but, boy, it's slow. Probably would have rated a star higher if they had prompt service.

“Authentic Italian Gnocci and an atmosphere and pace for relaxing!”
Reviewed November 2, 2013 via mobile

What a night! Great Gnocci! Came here based on a recommendation. Great food and wine! A wonderfully relaxed pace, not rushed through our courses! Jessica was fantastic! The Gnocci was superb! Just like my husband's gramma used to make and that means a lot!!! We drove an hour to come here and we will come back!

“Great find in Amesbury!”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

In Amesbury on a beautiful Saturday night around 6:30 pm with intentions of eating at the Flatbread. Upon arrival, learned that the wait was over an hour so we decided to hit the streets and consult YELP (sorry Trip Advisor). Noticed great reviews for this restaurant so we called from right outside to see how long the wait was without reservations. The receptionist was very polite and said she could accommodate us. We walked in and were seated within 5 minutes. The waitresses (one in training) came to our table right away and asked if we had been to the restaurant before and we said "no". Both were very helpful and attentive. Bread/oil were brought to our table fairly quickly and entrees include a side salad. The bread was absolutely wonderful, warm - crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I ordered the Gnocchi with Eggplant and the hubby ordered the Haddock Al Forno. My dish was fabulous and plentiful, enough for the next day. The gnocchi were tender, sauce not too heavy and the eggplant perfectly cooked. Hubby thought the haddock was delicious too. VERY reasonable prices given that a salad is included in the price of an entrée. Very surprised that the restaurant was not packed on a Saturday night. We will definitely return ... a great find!
