There is a tavern menu, as well as a full dinner menu. The Weiner Schnitzel and spaetzel was excellent, and the Goulash (Gram’s recipe) was out of this world. Excellent bar service and wait staff. Cozy atmosphere as well.

“Good food, good company”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

Eight of us went to Haflinger Haus for dinner. The service was excellent, unrushed,(and with a smile); the cocktails were satisfying, and there were no complaints about the food. One person felt the cake for dessert was a little dry. The Haus Salad with balsalmic dressing was included with the meals and was very tasty (I could actually eat one of these with a scoop each of the carrot slaw, potato salad, and marinated cucumbers as a meal! Absolutely delicious!). There were warm rolls with plain or cranberry butter, which disappeared quickly. I had the wiener schnitzel which was very tasty. Will I go back? Yes.

“Excellent all around”
Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

No processed food here. Always feel like I ate a healthy, home cooked meal. They even have their own garden for fresh vegetables. The owner never hesitates to come around & see how your meal was. The restaurant is beyond clean and bathrooms are spotless, which is important to me

Good caesar salad, but taste-free prawns for starters.
Good scallops, but lukewarm chicken schnitzel as mains.
You pays your money (+ tax and service) and makes your choice...

“All ten of us had a great dinner!!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013 via mobile

Between us we had a perfect cross-sampling of the entire menu. Two had the trout special and another two the goulash. One had jaeger schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel roll and declared it z"delicious. Aldo ordered were Weiner Schnitzel, Jaeger Schnitzel, Saurbraten, and Schwrinshaxe. Amazingly every bite was wonderful. The spatzle was light and tender. The red cabbage yummy. Appetizers we enjoyed ranged from oysters to asparagus soup to calamari. The evening was scoped off by a couple who took spoke Kuchen and Black Forest cake to go. No one had room for dessert after finishing dinner! Beyond delicious : we'll all be back!@
