This place gets packed for a reason. The food is great and you can taste the difference in the freshly cooked contents of the burritos. It's also BYOB, do if you feel like dinning in (super casual) you can bring your own beer, etc. teriyaki chicken burrito is awesome. The only drawback is that they could use a bigger parking lot

I had been waiting for Bueno y Sano to open. We need a good Mexican Restaraunt in this area. However, the wait continues.

The food was _bland_ and tasteless. There was zero imagination or skil apparent in the food. The salsas were terrible: plain tomatoe juice with salt or tomatoe juice with so much fire as to be painful. No taste was to be found.

Until someone actually cares to make the food good, this too will pass, because the customers will.

The new Bueno y Sano in Acton is on the corner of Routes 27 and 111; it was once a Midas shop, and much later a very bad Chinese restaurant. I really hope B&S does better, because their food is a FANTASTIC addition to the options for Acton.

The portions are VERY generous; one burrito will provide two meals. The vegetarian options are far more than an afterthought; the "Chickpea and Red Curry" burrito tastes incredibly decadent, and there are as many places to request tofu as there are to request meats. For those who are cutting back on carbs, all burritos come as a "bowl" -- all the ingredients are combined in a take-out pie-plate-size container, with no tortilla. I think the portions are doubly-generous in that configuration, and I highly recommend it!

The non-vegetarian options are also excellent; my sweetheart raved about the tastiness of the steak-and-cheese quesadilla, and the "steak bomb burrito" (a frequent special, but not always available) is his go-to dish, and he makes yummy noises the whole time he's eating it.

The grilled jalapeno poppers are delicious, and clearly made from FRESH jalapenos -- no pre-made, preservative-filled, frozen stuff; they consequently pack a MUCH bigger heat punch than you'd experience with "poppers" from, say, TGI Fridays.

The food comes up fast, and while the dining area is what you'd expect at a Midas store, most people go for the takeout option , so usually there are plenty of free tables.

Give them at least one try before writing them off -- you won't be sorry!

After reading the reviews for the other Bueno Y Sano locations in Burlington, VT and Amherst, MA, I was really excited about one opening in Acton. However, after two visits, I am very disappointed and will not give it another chance unless and until I hear there have been major changes. Problems: although the menu looks good, the food is bland and tastes like it was taken out of cans and thrown together. The chicken is flavorless and tastes like it was boiled, not grilled as some of the more upscale Mexican chains provide. If you get take-out, you end up without salsa or any real flavoring in your meal. The lettuce is wilted, and the beans are also flavorless. I hope they can get their act together or I won't be going back!
