Had a very nice birthday experience at Level. Started with wine and a taste of local brew from the friendly guests at the next table. A nice drinks/wine list to choose from, so a great opportunity to sample. Best dishes we tried were the grilled calamari with lemon, mac n cheese, local greens salad. Outstanding was the Mexican chocolate creme. I would go back just for that alone. The staff was very accommodating and even took back one dish, replacing it with another that was more flavorful. A keeper, you'll need reservations most evenings.

Ate dinner here as part of a large group. We basically all ordered one or two things we wanted to sample, then passed all the plates around. The portions are VERY small, so don't rely on one menu item satisfying your appetite! Ordering several items and sharing made for a great dining experience.

Consistently creative, tasty food start to finish and attentive service by knowledgeable friendly waitstaff. We DO recommend Level as one of the best Annapolis has to offer.

Our only disappointment is the noise level. It is loud to deafening in places, particularly when there is a large group upstairs. Having been there several times before, and wanting friends new Level to have a favorable impression, we requested a window table on the first floor. Instead we were seated upstairs, mid room, elbow to elbow with a four top next to us - nearly communal. When we called the hostess' attention to the fact that our reservation requested a table downstairs and asked if we could be seated there, she made no attempt to work it out even though we were on time and willing to wait for a better table. We got to know far too much about our neighbors and I'm sure they feel the same.

Level would improve with better acoustics especially upstairs.

We will be back, but hope our request is honored in the future.

Sat at the bar a couple of weeks ago. The food was great, small plates don't fill you up, but taste amazing. Servers were very attentive. Great wine paired with the dinner. I was made to feel at home. Bartenders were very helpful in recomending other great restuarants and bars in Annapolis. Very helpful and I have already recomended the place to other travelers. Bravo!

We were very excited to try Level since it was rated in the top 50 restaurants in the Baltimore area. We were also excited because they had dancing. We confirmed the time music for dancing started when we made our reservation. First, we were seated next to the door, where the hostesses rears were level with our faces, just a foot away. It was also very loud.
Then, we were only 1 couple and they brought all the food at one time, so in order for everything to be eaten at the proper temperature, we were done in 30 minutes. We had our drinks and planned on ordering wine and dessert later. When we left the table to use the restrooms, they started clearing our table. Our drinks weren't even finished.
Next we ordered wine and they brought the wrong one. THEN we found out they didn't have dancing at all. It was a very poor dining experience.
