“Another Terrific Find!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

We were looking for a "new" restaurant in Annapolis for Sunday brunch and discovered Boatyard Bar & Grill. My husband and I were meeting our son and a friend of his visiting from Connecticut.

The three out of four of us (my son's friend is a strict vegetarian) shared very good size, succulent raw oysters on the half shell (Boatyard had several different varieties), yummy homemade cornbeef hash, the best shrimp and grits my husband has ever had (including mine), and my wonderful crabmeat omelet which was served with very well seasoned red potato home fries and delicious multi-grain bread. The coffee was outstanding. Bloody Mary's (my husband enjoyed his) and Mimosa's were offered for $2 each until 10:00 a.m. on weekends.

The menu is extensive with portions that are more than sufficient; the service was very good; the atmosphere and decor were perfect for at least families, friends, and couples with the exception of sitting right next to the raw bar (clattering plates periodically) and there is an option of outdoor seating; the values were excellent compared to other brunch menus in the area; the restaurant is located on "the other side of the bridge" from the historical downtown area; there is a very small parking lot directly in front of the restaurant, but plenty of on-the-street parking on that particular day and at that particular time (Sunday, 7/20 at 9:30 a.m.).

“Fun Spot in Annapolis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

Visited Boatyard Bar and Grill several times this summer. We were able to walk there from the house we were renting in the Eastport section of Annapolis. Each of us ordered the pizza with our own toppings. The home-made whole wheat crust was amazing! The bar area was lively and energetic. Thoroughly enjoyed our visits!

“Guess it depends on the day”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

if you are not into sports bars, and don't like the noise, then pick another place to eat. The place was noisy, and sound travels well from the bar to the restaurant. This is not a romantic spot! The food was so-so, I ordered Open Faced Blue Crab Melt which was served over soggy Ciabatta bread. I finally had to scrape the crab to the side in order to eat it, which I found almost flavorless

“Awesome place! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family. The food was incredible, we started off with the crab balls, which were so good. While it was a bit noisy, I found that it didn't detract from the overall experience. It's a great place to get great good in a fun environment.

“Great Annapolis Food and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2014

We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is always very good. I took my clients here over a year ago and when they come to Annapolis and the Boatyard is the only place they want to eat! My favorites are the fish and chips, crab cakes and burgers. Prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is very Annapolis and it is in a trendy area. Parking is tricky but not impossible.
