“One of the finest places in the world!”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Galway Bay does it all right. I eat here every time I visit Annapolis and it always gives an incredible experience. The tomato and irish whiskey soup is awesome but the crab cakes are just to die for, and in a land where crab is king, that is a big statement! Dining room or bar, either side gives a wonderful Irish feel. Love it!!

“Great Place for a Pint”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

A bit crowded, but an excellent place for a pint of Smithwick's. Great bartenders. Recommended if you enjoy the atmosphere of an Irish pub.

“Traditional American Irish Pub”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

My husband likes to do his work in bars or cafes. This is his favorite hangout. Believe it of not, he sits in the bar and works on whatever he is working on. He loves it more than I do.

“Cozy Irish Atmosphere”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

The cozy, family-friendly atmosphere with Irish music piped in the background will make anyone feel Irish! Wonderful comfort-food menu, good service, and a good selection on the gluten free menu! I love the decor - posters, farm equipment, and plaques that immerse you in Irish culture. Every time I visit, I feel transported back to the little pub in John Ford's "The Quiet Man."

“A bit of Ireland fell to earth.”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

The Galway brothers run restaurants that happen to have bars in them and take pride in their menu. However, the customers make it a traditional Irish pub with great talk and fun. Make this your "local" in Annapolis.
