Not really Mexican food (more Tex-Mex) but you get good food and good proportions for your money. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, et. al. The perfect "lunch place."

Very busy even at lunch time. The food: much to choose from.
Very good, could choose spicy or not spicy. Drinks were good.
Prices very good. Enjoy!

We visited El Toro Bravo during a busy weekend in Annapolis. We chose this because the other, more expensive restaurants were packed. We went for a late lunch and were seated and placed our order quickly. As is expected from this kind of Tex-Mex place, our food came very quickly. It was ok. Nothing special. The beer selection is all from bottles, so I had water. The bathroom was pretty gross. And there was nearly a taxidermied bull head (with nearly an entire torso attached) staring at me while I ate. Didn't like that. Overall, decent food and good Annapolis prices, but cleanliness and decor could use some improvement.

I love the authentic Mexican food (and drinks!) at El Toro, and the prices are great, but it is a very busy restaurant. It's hard to get a table to lunch or dinner time, so go early. They have a very large menu and a festive atmosphere.

Having spent a great deal of time in Texas, my review may seem a little harsh. We both ordered Carne Asada. There was plenty of thin sliced rib eye steak, along with beans, rice & soft tortias. It was OK but lacked real flavor. The menu was very standard chain Tex-Mex with little to get excited about. The margaritas were excellent as well as the chips and salsa.
