Four of us had a wonderful brunch at Rams Head. Eggs Benedict, crab cake Benedict , Benedict with bisquits and Choriso & egg tortillas. All were excellent and well priced. We rounded out the meal with a Bloody Mary. Soft jazz on the outside patio made it that much nicer. Nice Sunday well worth doing.

All the Rams Head based locations should be much better than they are. The food just isn't where it could be. A place like Lures has much better food for the same price point. Rams Head is not too bad for a beer yet eat elsewhere.

Although we did have a better than average waitress (Lindsay), she kind of fizzled at the end of the meal when there were concerns about charging for substitutions that had not been discussed and were no where in print. Rams Head has a lively atmosphere, the beer garden is particularly interesting (although a HUGE downside is that they allow smoking in the "garden" and the area is closed in with privacy fencing). The food is consistently average. It is a nice place for light brunch, lunch or a very casual dinner. The bar is also good for late night.

The menu has undergone many changes in the past year or so to a more pub-food style restaurant as opposed to some of higher-priced entrees they used to feature. This is a good and bad thing in my opinion. I have been disappointed in the past, so now when I go, I usually stick to having a burger or something similar. On our latest visit, they were featuring a fresh trout special, so my wife ordered it. It was very good. The fish was sprinkled with cajun seasoning and then baked in the oven. It was finished with a basil-strawberry "salsa" if you will. I believe this is one of the best things to come out of their kitchen in a long time.

The service, as usual, was spotty. Our server could only manage to wait on one table at a time, which meant she would walk by our table and leave a dirty plate or glass until the next time she came back to check on us.

We probably won't be back to Rams Head until the next time we have show tickets. They do have a good dinner deal on show nights and take a couple of dollars off of your parking in the garage.

We visited Rams Head for a Scott Kirby concert (Terrific) and went early for Dinner. The beer sampler was good but the food was so-so at best. Not much flavor. Both meals were under-cooked but the worst part was the service. Server didn't seem to care if customers were served. This is a classic "too busy for their own good" kinda place. However, the beer selection was unique. (too bad the servers don't know anything about the beers) Great location in old town Annapolis.
