We had tickets to a show at Rams Head on Stage, and needed to eat dinner beforehand. On
this particular night it was pouring rain, and there had been severe storm warnings all day. We
decided to make it a Rams Head evening and eat there. This is a pub, with a typical menu, not
a gourmet meal but good pub food! All four people were happy with what they ordered and the
beer is excellent, by the pitcher is the best choice and what you don't finish you can take into the
stage area for the show! They give ticket holders a 10% discount your dinner check and a 2 hr.
stamp on your parking, which we didn't use since the garage they use was too far away on a
rainy night. No truly healthy choices on this menu, just so you know.

This is the best place to go to have an awesome meal and see a show. Great beer, too! Get the peformance package for an unbeatable value. They get some very big name performers here and there insn't a bad seat in the house. Looking forward to a lot more trips!

We stopped in for light lunch, because we wanted a beer and the outdoor garden area looked so appealing on a summer Saturday. The Old Dominion Hop Mountain IPA was tasty, the selection of brews on tap was good. The service was quick and accommodating, the food was good, all just fine, although the price was a bit high - $12 for 6 beer-battered jumbo shrimp? I'd come again but not as often as I'd like.

Ramshead has always been one of my favorite places to see artists. I was lucky to get great seats for Pat Metheny and Unity Band. Rams Head food was good. Free apps for happy hour if you get a drink. Shrimp were good.spinach salad with pears were great. Hambergers great. Very friendly waitress Kelly was very nice. Discount if you get a ticket. somewhat disturbing trend of more famous artists requesting no photos. How did they get to be famous to begin with? Other than that great place to see quality artists.

We got a group of Friends together for the Burlesque show and it was fabulous!

A few days before we received a "Performance Package" offer email with a small discount for pre-show dinner and decided to make reservations and make it a night. We arrived and was escorted to a nice area sectioned off from restaurant with access to the show. We ordered drinks that arrived promptly. There ended the dining pleasure. We waited over half hour for appetizers and then when we figured out our dinners were not arriving before showtime. The waitress apologized for the delay and explained they had another group in house that they were serving also and the kitchen was not prepared. We were a group of 8 and the other table was 15. The restaurant was not that crowded and both of our tables had reservations so it was not a surprise.

The waitress, at first, told us we could not have dinner in the attached arena, then the manager came and escorted us to our table and told us he would bring our dinners. We were served dinner that was very good, but that waitress did not come back again until the middle of show with a check.

Our next waiter that took care of us for the show did not take our drink orders or serve our drinks until our dinners were almost complete. We received separate dinner and show checks with no discount for our food and our drink tabs were combined with another table.

I notified Rams Head via Response Email from the show's Performance Package email that we received with a heads up of our night's tale and I received a response that they would "pass the info along".

I love Ram's Head and will continue to go for shows and for dinner, just not together...
