The turnover is fast - the seats are crowded but the deli food is worth it all! Everything on the menu is good and the prices are appropriately reasonable! If your'e a city person hankering for good deli fare - head for Chick & Ruth's. The owners and staff are friendly and hard-working - what's not to love?

The black and white cookies are amazing!!! We had breakfast and it was cheap and really good. There are a ton of people trying to go there, but they still manage to get you in and serve you pretty quickly!

This used to be my "go to" location for the past 32 years when visiting Annapolis. This past time it was just too grimy. i wanted to clorox the table and seats. too many years of grime.. I didn't order-I walked out…too gross.

If you've never been here before let me just start by saying, this place is truly tiny and extremely crowded so be prepared to bump into people and for the staff to have to jump through hoops in order to sit parties larger than 4. However, the wait and the lack of space is totally worth the food and service. I am not a fan of corned beef, but everyone who I know has tried it, loved it. Their wraps are also super delicious, and honestly, everything I've ever had there has been at the very least decent tasting. Chick and Ruth's is also well known for their milkshakes and I've only ever had the smallest one, and it was very delicious, but also thick and filling. Because of this, if I go there it's either to eat or to get a shake but not both because it's just too much for me to consume in one meal.

Chick and Ruth's has been an Annapolis hallmark for two generations now. It's always crowded, with frequent waiting lines out the door, which tells you all you need to know about their popularity. They also make their own rye bread which has to be the best in the known universe. "Crabtown" has a lot of great restaurants, but Chick and Ruth's is in a class of its own.
