Really enjoyed a return visit to this marina side restaurant. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the crab soup, crab cakes and salmon dinner. No room for dessert. We ate inside, but the outdoor dining looked really nice on a warm evening.

My wife & I had a night to ourselves in Annapolis, and glad we picked this spot. We really wanted some good MD seafood, and that's exactly what we got. We both had creme of crab soup, the best we've ever had with sweet lumps of crab in every bite. She also got the crab cakes, and again were delicious. 2 crab cakes for $32 seems a bit high, but she couldn't only finish half and had a great lunch today. I had the Rockfish, which is perfectly paired with the sun dried tomato risotto and fresh sautéed spinach.

We made reservations and were seated immediately we chose to sit inside, but could have waited another 20 mins for an outside table (outside tables are first come first served). The restaurant was loud at 8:15pm with several large groups. Things really quieted down after we got our appetizers which came out fast. Entrees seemed to take a bit, but we didn't care, we had no time constraints. I did notice another large party that sat right after us, getting their entrees as we were finishing ours.

Service was great, all the wait staff were personable and upbeat.

Just over the bridge, the restaurant has an AMAZING view of the marina... which is perfect for Annapolis. Didn't mind the slow service since we had a vacation vibe to the day but if you're hungry or need to be somewhere afterwards, be warned. The crab soup was pretty BAD. 95% thick cream and just poked around to just eat the crab. No real flavor and not worth the calories. Despite all of this, the real reason to eat here is the outdoor deck with the view and for that, by all means please go and enjoy it.

This is a spectacular place to enjoy a meal. Our dinner was very very good. One of us loves seafood, the other won't touch it. We were both very pleased with the quality and quantity of our food, and our dinners were artfully plated and presented. The views from the outdoor terrace are stunning and enchanting as you are overlooking the Annapolis Harbor. The service we experienced could not have been more delightful. Our server Tom was very attentive, knowledgable about all menu selections, answered many questions, made great suggestions, and encouraged us to try new things. He has a good sense of humor and made our dining experience great fun. When he learned that I have a knee problem, he called the water taxi to take us back to City Dock and personally escorted us downstairs to the Marina. This is a special place and we look forward to a return visit to Annapolis and Carroll's Creek.

We stopped into Carroll's Creek for dinner on Saturday - We were immediately seated and our server was fun and attentive! We started with the tuna tartare appetizer which was so fresh and delicious. One in our party had the Cioppino which he pronounced fabulous and "head and heels" above the Tadich Grill in San Fran! The broth was expertly created and seasoned! The other party had the Sea Bass which was also superb! Beautifully prepared and presented.... One member of the party is gluten-free and the server (and the kitchen) are knowledgable about the ingredients and preparation. Cannot wait to go back!
