O'Leary's is never a bad choice. You can always rely on its food being prepared perfectly, with a fabulous innovative menu. The owner is is wonderful and the staff handpicked. It is a restaurant that must be experienced,

O'Leary's was recommended to me by a local for excellent seafood in Annapolis. We were not disappointed. I enjoyed the jumbo lump crab cakes with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Everything on the plate was incredible! Of course, you do get what you pay for. My entree was $34.00, but worth every penny!

Whenever we wanted seafood, we would travel from DC to Annapolis (O'Learys) for seafood.
Tonight the waiter RECOMMENDED the sole with crab meat.
The sole was old and tasted terrible. It was drowned in a sauce so at first one would not taste the sole. It had very little crab meat and that was also drowned in the sauce.
The soup and soft shell appetizers were good.
However, I will not return after that terrible experience. The waiter said he thought the sole was fine and said the chef (after supposedly questioning him) said the sole was fresh.
THE SOLE WAS NOT FRESH AND IT TASTED FUNNY AND TERRIBLE.

This is the best place in Annapolis for seafood. There are always a few non-seafood items on the menu, but I've never been tempted to try any of them. The wine list includes a nice selection with a range of prices. The off street parking lot is a great feature since there are several very popular restaurants nearby and parking would be challenging.

There are several good reviews of this place but I was suspicious about an Annapolis seafood spot's ability to do spanish gazpacho and zarzuela. I am not kidding when I say that I've had several gazpachos and spanish stews in my time and O'Leary's ranks extremely high on the list. Very impressed, definitely worth a visit to anyone who enjoys some creative cookin'
