Keep in mind that as of tonight The Crown and Anchor has only been open about a week and a half. We sat outside as they were setting up for the US Sailboat Show, which I highly recommend attending. The A/C inside was not working but I am sure they will get that fixed. Not an issue. We ordered raw oysters which were really good, boiled shrimp which were obviously from frozen shrimp (I know fresh seafood), and Chesapeake style chicken wings which I really liked. So the food was good except the shrimp. The Layer Cake Malbec was fresh as if they had just opened the bottle. Much better than days old wine. The service was just ok. The waiter had not been properly trained but was certainly pleasant. Overall I would say check it out but perhaps for lunch first and probably better to let a season go by so they can work out some kinks.
