I've been here several times with my husband and we only go for drinks. The three times we've tried to eat there the food just was not good at all. The only food item to eat is the potato skins which aren't bad most of the time. We'll keep coming here for the drinks as long as they stay cheap.

My husband and I stopped by the Riverbay Roadhouse for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The interior is done well and appeared quite clean. We sat in the bar and visited with the bartender who was very friendly and personable. They had an interesting menu. I tried the clam strip Poor Boy sandwich special and it had fat clam strips instead of the skinny ones. My husband had mussels which he enjoyed as well. They even have blue crabs in season. We will definitely visit again.

Our visit to the Riverbay Roadhouse on Good Friday was exceptional. We were welcomed by our server Dana who recommended the 'Rockfish' informing us it is the Maryland state fish. The meal was prepared exquisitely. Recognizing that we were tourists, the mother of the owner came over to greet us, providing suggestions / directions around the Chesapeake Bay area. She tempted us with homemade desserts.

Watch for signs on Highway 50 before Bay Bridge. Well worth the short drive. We'll be back !!!
