“Excellent site to visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

Naval academy is wonderrful site to visit for several reasons; Historical, military academy setting and local shopping and restuarants. the academy itself is great place to tour and experience the atmosphere, must see the chapel. The local area of down town Annapolis is full on old restored building and interesting shops if a bit pricey. The local restuarants are super for local seafood and historical meals. In all a excellent stop for the mid morning break.

“not enough time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

to see and explore the entire campus unfortunately. However we enjoyed walking from the Visitor Center to the US Naval Academy Museum (Preble Hall). We spent almost 2 hours in the Museum looking at the exhibits and studying the antique models. Looking forward to a return visit in warmer weather to take a tour and to view the Chapel.

“Great family experience”

My boys did the LAX camp run by the Naval Academy and we stayed and toured the campus and museum. A great piece of history that is beautiful and educational. We will return soon!

“Beautiful and patriotic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

For locals and tourists, the USNA is really the heart of Annapolis. Be ready to walk long distances to explore the campus. During the summer, watch the mids take their crew and boats out on the water. During the spring, the chapel is busy with weddings. No real dining options for visitors, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance to the academy. Parking is restricted, but pedestrians are welcome. Don't forget your photo identification.

“A must on any Annapolis itinerary”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

A beautiful campus to walk around. Tours can be self-guided or they will provide a guide. Information on the Academy at http://www.usna.edu/visit.htm. The chapel is especially worthy of extra time here. You could spend 3 to 4 hours here or just 15 minutes, if that's all the time you have. Be sure to have a photo ID to get in.
